Youth and Young Adults
Austin Forum takes inspiration from St. Augustine’s restless search for meaning and happiness as a young person. Today, young people are faced with many challenges in a world that is rapidly evolving.
Austin Forum aims to promote the discussion of issues facing young people in a way that is meaningful and relevant to them and to share our Augustinian spirituality in the heart of friendship that encourages young people to practice community by serving others.
The Bellesini Community volunteer in our youth and young adult initiatives within Austin Forum and this is supported by the national youth team that plan regular national and international youth events, including collaborative projects between schools, confirmation retreats, creative arts-based projects, workshops, youth groups and retreats for youth and young adults in and outside of the Church.
Parish Youth Group
For young people between First Holy Communion and Confirmation. The youth group takes place on Sundays between 5-6:15 pm in the Augustinian Centre on a fortnightly cycle.

School Retreats and Social Action Projects
We have worked with several schools over the past two years and offer tailor-made retreats and projects for staff or pupils. We have worked with all ages and are able to host groups at Austin Forum, in your school setting, or find a suitable venue close to you. We often collaborate with the Columbans' Justice and Peace team whose emphasis on faith in action complements our own community focus. Contact Austin Forum for more information
We lead a team of young volunteers who prepare Retreat Days focusing on how we relate as young Catholics aimed at Confirmation Candidates for all London parishes. The day is divided into three main parts. Relating to God, how this impacts the way we Relate to Others and finally how we Relate to the Church. Games, activities and much discussion add to a fun filled day that many young people and Catechists have really enjoyed. For more information, please contact Austin Forum.
Feedback from our Augustinian outreach work...
The pace was good, giving the group time to settle in and then reflect on each topic
You were able to see our Candidate's personalities
It was a good way for them to express faith
The closing prayer was also very well done and engaged them
